Updates regarding Flood Relief Operation 
S# District Achievements till 26-10-2010
1 Swat Initial assessment in 19 union councils conducted. 1612 houses are completely damaged in thsese UCs.Food, tents and non food items are the pressing needs of the affectees.
SRSP with the fiancial support of RSPN-USAID distributed food, NFIs and Hygiene pakages among 2008 families

The material of 290 transitional shelter material has been airlifted to Utroar (kalam). Material of 100 shelters have been distributed. 74 shelters have been installed. 13 families have shifted to newly built tranistional shelters
SRSP provided 600 chairs to the students and table and chairs to the teachers of govt degree college Kabal Swat

SRSP distributed 1954 tents, 5960 NFIs and 562  plastic sheets among the affectees of tehsil Behrain, Babuzai, Kabal Khwazakhela, Matta Kharerai, Behrain and Charbagh

SRSP  from its own resources and  with the support of local philanthropist distributed 2696 food and 1231  non food items packages in Tehsil Behrain, Tehsil Kabal ,Tehsil Matta, Tehsil Khwazakhela, Tehsil Kalam and Tehsil Babuzai (Donated by Mercy Relief Singapore, CONFED and other local philanthropists)
SRSP distributed 2080 food packages among the affectees of Tehsil Kalam- UC Atroar, UC Gabrall, Tehsil Kabal- UC Hazara, Tehsil Matta- UC Beha, Gwalerai, Barthana and Chuprial, Tehsil Behrain- UC Teerrat,  donated by ICCO

SRSP provided medical assistance to 2150 patients in Tehsil Kaba, UC Tall and village Dardyal, UC Qalagay, village manja, Tehsil Behrain, UC Teerat, village Qandil, Tehsil Matta, UC Beha, Tehsil Behrain, UC Behrain and Tehsil Kalam, UC Gabrall and Utroar

SRSP intalled one small water filtration unit provided by Mercy Relief Singapore in village Shaheen Abad, Saidu Sharif, benefiting 70 families per day.
SRSP with the financial assistance of ICCO vaccinated 9618 animals in upper Swat and initiated the construction of Micro Hydel Power station
SRSP with resources from Citi, Mother Help Age has installed chair left at village Gul jaba. It would link Kabal and Shamozai. It would benefit 200--250 individuals per day.
SRSP distributed 115 school bags among the students of  GPS Chikrai, UC Fatehpur and Tehsil Khwazakhela
2 Shangla Initial assessment has been carried out in 20 Union Councils. Food, medicines and tents are the dire need of the affectees. 943 houses are completley destroyed.Hillly  service is to required for distributing these items.

SRSP has distributed 425 food packages and 300 NFIs among the affectees of UC Shahpur, Kuzkana and Opal, Kormong, Butial, Shang and Sarkool (provided by Mercy Relief Singapore and local philanthropists)

SRSP distributed 1467 Tents and 4025 NFIs among the flood affectees in Tehsil Alpuri, UC Dherai, Malak khel, Lilownai, Kuzkana, Damorai, Butial, Dandai, Maira, Shang, Sarkool, Alpuri and Pir Abad provided by UNHCR
3 Kohistan Initial assessment has been carried out in 23 Union Councils. Tents, medicines, clothes, blankets and dry food items are the immediate needs of the affectees. Helicopter service is required for distributing these items

SRSP with the fiancial support of RSPN-USAID distributed food, NFIs and Hygiene pakages among 457 families
SRSP distributed 2050 food packages and 2050 NFIs in three union councils namely Jijal Bela, Ranilia and DubairPayeen (Provided by Local Philanthropists, SOS children village, Qatar Charity)

SRSP with UNHCR has established a distribution Hub for the affectees of district Kohistan  for NFIs and Tents distribution.  1249 tents, 3507 NFIs and 3500 plastic sheets have been distributed to the flood affected families
SRSP facilitated PPAF in conducting medical camps in Tehsil Dassu, UC Pattan, jijal, Thooti, Dubair Bala, Sazine, Shatial and Kuz Jalkot. 13409 patients were given medical assistance
4 Chitral
SRSP through its own resources has provided HDP pipes to five villages at the cost of Rs 450,000 to repair drinking water projects at Tehsil Chitral, UC Darosh 2- village Seerdoor, Tehsil Mustuj, UC Charun - village Reshunreran, Junalikoch and Sumaragh Buni, UC Kosht- village Shagram. It is benefiting 388 house holds.
SRSP distributed 400 Tents and 900 NFIs among the flood affected families provided by UNHCR
5 Nowshera
Initial assessments have been carried out in 31 Union Councils. 59845 houses are completely damaged in these UCs. Food and NFIs are the major needs
SRSP with the fiancial support of RSPN-USAID distributed food, NFIs and Hygiene pakages among 3375 families

SRSP distributed 14856 tents,  23222 NFIs and 11331 plastic sheets provided by UNHCR in Pabi and Nowshera at distribution hubs and  afghan refugee camp

513 Mineral water bottles & 504 juices were distributed to 76 families in Pabbi.  Cooked Food (rice) distributed among 700 individuals in Aromour colony

SRSP distributed 200 food packages in UC Chokitown donated by Mercy Relief Singapore,  106 packages (Food and Non Food items) in mohalla Mana khel donated by Pak Volunteers, 218 food packages in UC Nawakalay, village Misal Abad provided by  local philanthropists, 500 food packages in UC Mohib Banda, village Mohib Banda donated by Zitouna Good for All (Republic of Tunisia) , 550 food pakages in UC Pir sabak, village Barakehl, Sanober Kalay, Kawas Kuruna, Qazi Abad and Qoza Khel and 260 food and NFIs packags in Tehsil Nowhsera, UC Misri Banda, village Misri Banda, donated by local philanthropists

SRSP provided 2300000 liters clean drinking water to 54734 flood affected families  of UC Nowshera cannt, Kabal river, Kheshki Payeen, Akora Khattak and Jehangira, Mohib banda, Choki Town, Hakim Abad through water tanker

SRSP installed small water filtration unit at IDP camp kandaro (Govt polytechnique College Nowshera) benefiting 100 familes per day, provided by Mercy Relief Singapore
Local philanthropists distributed 211000 Rupees among 45 extremely vulnerable families and 43000 Rupees provided to a divorced woman to arrange dowry to get married again, identified by SRSP.
6 Charsada
Initial assessments have been done in 19 Union Councils. Tents, drinking water, Food, NFIs, cash  and Medical camp are the major needs. 7,029 houses have been completely damaged in these assessed Union Councils.
SRSP facilitated the distribution of shoes and clothes among 410 flood affected families
Cooked food (Rice and Nan) among 18856 individuals  in village Utmanzai, Paindakhel, Mirza Dher, Qazi Khel was distributed provided by local philanthropists
SRSP with the fiancial support of RSPN-USAID distributed food, NFIs and Hygiene pakages among 3845families

4171 patients were provided with medical assistance in Free medical camps. They were carried out in UC Tarnab, UC MCI, UC Hisara Yaseenzai, UC Rajjar,Afghan Refugee camp Utmanzai, UC Mirza Dher, MC 4 and Utmanzai, donated by SRSP, Justice Peace International and local philanthropists.
More than 200 persons evacuated to safe places. Cash recieved 16500 PKR. All activities conducted with the support of locals. Clean drinking water bottles distributed among 1790 individuals in Charsada.

SRSP facilitated local philanthropist in conducting a hygeine promotion session with 57 women in Tehil Charsada, UC MC 1, village Qazi Khel. 57 Hygeine kits were also distributed among the participants
SRSP has distributed 11811 tents, 22324 NFIs, and 7205 plastic sheets in District Charsada, at UC Utmanzai, Afghan Refugee camp Utmanzai, Rajjar Tarnab and distribution hubs provided by UNHCR

SRSP facilitated the distribution of 2810 food packages and 1763 NFI packages donated by idividual philanthropists (Mercy Relief, Comsat University Abbotabad, CDRS, Local Philanthropists, Just Peace International,Atif Aslam, Kashaf Foundation)
SRSP installed one small water filtration unit in IDP camp Hisara. It is benefiting 100 families per day in getting filtered water for drinking
SRSP facilitated CDRS in errecting 2 shelters for sheltering 200 livestock
SRSP facilitated the distribution of 150 dry food packages, 50 packs of bread provided by Comsat University Abbotabad
7 Peshawar
11 affected UCs have been assessed. 995 houses are completely damaged in these UCs. Tents, Food and NFIs are the major needs
SRSP with the fiancial support of RSPN-USAID distributed food, NFIs and Hygiene pakages among 600 families

SRSP has facilitated CAR in distributing 994 tents, 994 NFIs kits and 994 plastic sheets provided by UNHCR at Village Shalam, Khazana Union council for Afghan refugees of Adizai Camp

SRSP with UNHCR has established a distribution Hub at Chamkani for NFIs and Tents distribution.  9638 tents and 12643  NFIs and  3218 Plastic sheets have been distributed to the flood affected communities of Peshawar.

Supported UNHCR in distribution of 38 tents, 123 NFIs and 2 plastic sheets on Motorway camp

SRSP from Its own resources distributed 120 packages (Food and NFIs) in GHS No 2 Peshawar city

SRSP facilitated Khyber Girls medical college in conducting free medical camp at UC Lala, village Badar Ghari. 235 patients were given medical assistance

SRSP distributed 200 food packages in UC Mirakachori, village Jhagra donated by Mercy Relief Singapore

SRSP facilitated Local Philanthropist in distributing 150 food packages among the affectees of UC Lala, village Timberpura
8 Dir Lower SRSP distributed 300 food and 300 NFIs packages in Tehsil Timergara, UC Wadigram, village Wadigram provided by local
philanthropists
9 Haripur SRSP distributed 1037 tents and 2886 NFIs among the flood affectees at distribution hub Padiana Sikandarpur provided by UNHCR
10 Mansehra 324 Tents, 361 NFIs and 78 plastic sheets distributed in affected Ucs of Tehsil Mansehra and Balakot respectively provided by UNHCR
11 Kohat 787 Tents and 4089 NFIs and  6915 plastic sheets disrtibuted among the flood affectees at newly established hub  provided by UNHCR 
12 Dir Upper Initial assessment has been carried out in 19 Union Councils. 787 houses have been completely damaged in these Ucs. Tents, Food and NFIs are the dire needs

SRSP distributed 965 food pakages, 850 NFIs  and 500 Tents among the flood victims of Tehsil Dir, UC Palam, UC Barikot, UC Kalkot and UC Gwaldai, (Donated by Mercy Relief Singapore, ICCO ,local philanthropists, SOS children village)
13 Hangu SRSP distributed 21 Tents, 322 NFIs and 602 plasic sheets, provided by UNHCR
14 Swabi 327 Tents and 1063 NFIs distributed among the flood affectees in Tehsil Lahore, UC Tordher, kunda, Dodher, Gar Manara and Jehangira, provided by UNHCR
